​Description:
I am posting this to see if anyone else in the Rhineland-Palatinate area saw this last Christmas.
​I was at a clinic in Andernach and looked out the window when I noticed this object. It was completely stationary in the sky—not moving like a plane or satellite. It was pulsating rhythmically, getting brighter and dimmer, but remaining in the exact same spot.
​At first, I thought it might be a drone or a lantern given the holiday, but it was too stable and the pulsation was very mechanical. It made no sound.
​This image is a screenshot from a video I recorded at the time. I have not been able to identify it since.
