Tama Gucci Shares ‘xexe’ from ‘b4’s Greatest Hits Vol. 2’ Ft. Bbyafricka, Faux Real, flirty800, MEYYY, Paul Maxwell & more

b4 returns with ‘b4’s Greatest Hits Vol. 2’, a bold reintroduction of the influential label as it enters a new, fully independent chapter. Out now, the compilation restores the experimental spirit that shaped b4’s earliest era. The rollout includes Cute Door’s ‘Flashlight (Turn Me On)’, fUnlistenable’s ‘Ask Me Where You Never Go’ fet. TOMGIRL504EVER, and Flirty800 and DJ ThankYou’s ‘Move It’, with the next single ‘xexe’ from Tama Gucci out today.

Vol. 2 revives the concept behind the first b4 Greatest Hits, but reimagines what a “hit” can be. Founder Briana Cheng describes it as “the greatest hits you’ve never heard before,” a boundary free space where artists are invited to explore instinct, chaos, vulnerability, and play without commercial pressure. Revenue from Bandcamp and Nina Protocol will be donated to Transgender Law Center and Palestine Children’s Relief.

The path to b4’s independent relaunch was long and unpredictable. “It has been such a long journey of pitching and failing,” Cheng says. “Then one day it felt like God jolted me asking if I still wanted to do this.” Years working in A&R and later managing Dylan Brady’s Dog Show Records at Atlantic sharpened her clarity. “There are no rules. Everyone has access to the same tools now, so you can do whatever you want as long as you believe the music will move people.”

That ethos shapes the compilation’s curation, bringing together longtime collaborators, new discoveries, and artists working across emotional dance music, experimental pop, underground rap, and club futurism. Some contributors are established, while others are sharing music publicly for the first time simply because, as Cheng puts it, “the swag is there.”

Across the compilation, each artist defines its emotional and stylistic range. Cute Door’s Flashlight (Turn Me On) delivers dark, bass heavy minimal pop, while fUnlistenable and TOMGIRL504EVER offer the dreamy, glitchy Ask Me Where You Never Go. Flirty800 and DJ ThankYou bring bright late night club energy with Move It. MEYY contributes two intimate moments, Bbyafricka and Nedarb bring raw underground heat, Rision cuts through with futurist rap, and tracks from Garett Caramel, Tama Gucci, MINU, Paul Maxwell, and Faux Real round out the release.

Together, these songs define the new shape of b4 as instinct driven, emotionally charged, and committed to artistic freedom, experimentation, and community. “I hope people take more risks and genuinely like the music,” Cheng says. “When you are here, you are family.”

The new chapter also includes a collaboration with Ripe, a platform that allows fans and retail investors to directly support independent artists, reinforcing b4’s commitment to building sustainable, forward thinking creative ecosystems.
