Weird Rotating ball of light in the sky spotted in Southeast Michigan @8pm Last night (2/4/26)
I did check to see if any rockets were launched that day and it looks like there weren’t… Curious to know if anyone else has seen something like this.

Nah it’s a rave going on planet namek stop playing
I’ve seen these as well in Virginia near hotspots for activity. This sub told me it was a star and how my camera processes it. Not sure I buy that but that’s the response I received. Maybe that’s the standard response folks are told to provide. Not sure and don’t post anymore in here.

Yeah same. I was told it was Sirius. And probably so, but I’ll say this, I never recall seeing Sirius anywhere near as bright and colorful as this winter.

I live in Maine, and have seen and recorded the same (star?) before. My kids and their buddies thought I was nuts. While thats probably closer to true than not- I still feel that there is/was something there. It was to the East, not very high above the trees in my view of the sky. I’d like to think that it is a camera artifact, or whatever- but like yours, mine had a distinct rotating of different colors. Beats me. Keep looking up, right? 👍

It’s the star Sirius, and what you are seeing is called [scintillation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twinkling)
It’s probably the bright star Sirius:
