The former Top Gear trio hosted The Grand Tour for eight years after it launched in 2016, before stepping down in 2024.

The popular motoring show is now set to return on Amazon Prime Video, with a brand new six-part series.

Who are the new presenters on The Grand Tour?

The presenters replacing Clarkson, May, and Hammond on the new series of The Grand Tour have now been confirmed.

Trainspotter-turned-social media star Francis Bourgeois will host the show alongside James Engelsman and Thomas Holland, whose car-related YouTube channel, Throttle House, has more than 3.35 million subscribers.

The trio will front the six-part series on Prime Video, which will see them drive across some of the world’s most challenging terrains in a variety of vehicles.

The new series of The Grand Tour promises to be packed with “adventure, horsepower and humour”, according to producers.

The new presenters will be seen crossing the Angolan desert in track cars and exploring Malaysia’s vibrant car culture, before heading to California to test the latest and greatest performance cars.

Bourgeois said he, Engelsman, and Holland have “big shoes to fill”.

The YouTube star, who has amassed a following of almost six million people, continued: “It’ll be like Mo Farah running in size 14 wellies — it’ll be a little awkward at first, perhaps blister-inducing but will overall be an interesting watch.”

Engelsman added: “I’ve worked with Thomas for almost a decade making car films. Who knew that all this time, the one ingredient that was missing was a Francis Bourgeois? Let the car adventures commence.”

While Holland said: “When I first heard they were rebooting The Grand Tour and replacing Clarkson, Hammond and May, I said ‘only a moron would take that job’.”

“We’re beyond excited to pass the keys to Thomas, James and Francis, three standout talents who emerged from an extensive search, each bringing distinctive talents and energy that will propel the series into exciting new territory while capturing the spirit of adventure and camaraderie of this beloved franchise.”
