Thanks to the amazing discussion on my last video about the 'Hwan-guk' mystery (10k+ views!), I’m back with Part 3 of the Lost East Asian History series.

This story explores the transition from the Bronze Age to the Iron Age (108 BC), where the divine lineage of 'Dangun Tengri' shifts to a new kingdom. The mythology here gets very strange and specific—potentially pointing to lost technologies or distinct genetic lineages:

  1. The Five-Dragon Chariot: A "Son of Heaven" descends in a chariot driven by five dragons to summon a Bronze Palace from the earth [Source 26, 27]. Is this a metaphor for advanced metallurgy or something else?

  2. A woman with 3-foot long lips trapped in a net: They caught a monster in the river… but she was a fallen princess. 3 Reasons Why the River God was Angry at his daughter.

  3. Shapeshifting Duel: A battle between a Sky Deity and a Water God involving the Three-Legged Crow (a solar symbol shared across Transeurasian nomads).

  4. The Egg Birth: Lady Yuhwa gives birth to a 1.8kg Egg instead of a child. Animals protect it, and weapons can't break it. This marks the beginning of the Goguryeo Empire.

Is the "Egg Birth" myth a symbol for a new, distinct ruling class separating from the existing tribes? Have you heard about this myth? Let me know your thoughts!
