The “Pontoise Gap”: Archival evidence from 1441 suggests King Edward IV was illegitimate, making the entire current British Monarchy a fraud.

Edward IV’s male line ended with the deaths of his sons a few months after his own. The modern Royals are descended from him via his daughter, but do not derive their descent from William I from him alone.

The only thing that Edward IV being illegitimate would change is making Richard III’s usurpation and kinslaying less fucked up by the moral standards of that time period.

In my opinion, heritable monarchy is inherently illegitimate regardless, so it’s a moot point.

Isn’t there a secret letter that QE2 wrote to Australia that is not to be read until a certain year? Maybe that’s laying the whole thing out.
