
Sharpless 2-199 – Soul Nebula
The Soul Nebula (IC 1848) is a vast emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia, about 7,500 light-years away. Shaped by intense radiation from young stars, its glowing clouds of hydrogen and oxygen form intricate filaments and dark dust lanes, making it a striking target for astrophotography.
