Thought this was worth posting. Girlfriend just sent me a video from our apartment. This would be located in Chicago the video is face towards the lake. Taken just now approx around 11am.
I questioned if it was a bag or balloon as we see a lot of those flying around but she said it was moving against the snow/wind.
She said it moved slow, up, down and horizontally.
This is a weird one in my opinion.
Thoughts on this?

Its a balloon, there are different wind currents at different elevations, hence the up and down movement, as well as temp fluctuations.

Brain wants to say balloon but can a balloon get “stuck” like that and hover? Looks likes it’s going against the wind.Â

Did you check flight radar? Visibility in that kind of weather can make any aircraft look like a blurry orb
Aside from seeming to slowly move against the wind, did it do anything abnormal? Did it display any of the 5 observables? Why’d you stop filming so soon?
What phone? Cause I know that’s not 100x zoom
Why not just try and get closer for a better picture?

Love how the only people who see this sort of stuff don’t really care to get footage of it moving or get closer etc it’s always like a ten second clip and then they get on with their day. If I saw some shit like this I would have multiple stream angles every camera I could find recording it until it did something
