I was really pleased to read the post by mddrecovery and to reflect on the work they put into it, especially when it touched on issues like the following:
"Some of the UAP crafts discovered in recent times have displayed life-like qualities, it even being mentioned in congressional hearings that the craft may be "consciousness operated" which appears to be similar to the concept of ether, or the life-force.
The whole thing was a mighty effort, and radiated sincerity. And I loved that sense of openness to all viewpoints – tinged with a sense of responsibility – in the conclusion:
Do the anthroposophical and theosophical movements have a responsibility to weigh in on the modern disclosure movement, to show the world the spiritual side of the "extraterrestrial equation"?
But I also felt s/he was treated rather shabbily – or superficially – in so many of the comments. Hey guys – can't we all do better than that? I have been researching the connections between anthroposophy and the UFO phenomenon for over twenty years – the crossover literature is huge – and so I had to do a real double-take when I read the responses here. I move in a world where serious, scholarly anthroposophists take this subject very seriously, to the extent that I wonder – I truly wonder deeply – how it can possibly be that, in modern times, there is an anthroposophist anywhere who has not taken it as a deep and grave and quite essential responsibility to plunge into this subject and try to learn about it.
I always remember the title of one particular article from years ago that announced "UFO's: Preeminent Phenomena of our Time" by a Patrick Steensma. That doesn't seem to be available on the net now – although I have my own copy – but, the import of the title always stayed with me. Darn, this is the preeminent issue for anthroposophers today – at a time when AI gathers pace.
It would seem that the logical thing to do, for someone in my situation, would be to invite anyone here to watch the video "Dr Aaron J. French: The Magic of Technology: Rudolf Steiner's Rosicrucianism and the UFO Phenomena". That is because Dr French "starts at the beginning" so to speak for people who perhaps don't know anything about the UFO phenomena or anthroposophy. But be warned!! Dr French builds up to light-speed very darn quickly. In the introduction, viewers will learn that Dr French:-
"specialises in the history of science, modernity, Western esotericism, German Romanticism and Science and Technology Studies. His dissertation focused on "disenchanting and re-enchanting German modernity with emphasis on the German intellectuals Max Weber and Rudolf Steiner."
Those who are curious can read that dissertation on Max Weber and Rudolf Steiner here. If they are more curious, they can check out what Dr French has written in Das Goetheanum and in scholarly journals elsewhere.
There are other videos too that might be of interest for anthroposophists who, amazingly, are still ignorant about this very substantial matter. They might want to watch this video where Dr Garry Nolan is interviewed on his interest in it. The interviewer TRIES to make it easy for the viewer new to the field by "leading them by the hand" so to speak by TRYING to work sequentially through a series of prepared questions or topics But I don't suppose that really worked – I would suggest that any anthroposophist new to the field would find this video rather mind-blowing. And in response, I can only ask, "Where have you been all your life?
Again – there is an amazing amount of anthroposophical/UFO material available. I wish I could get more anthroposophists to read Rudolf Steiner, UFOs, and Ahriman by Robert Filocco This essay seems to assume the reader is extremely familiar with both anthroposophy and the UFO phenomena, but I don't suppose that makes in any "harder" to navigate than the earlier material mentioned above – for the simple reason that to anyone new to the field, ALL of this will probably appear mind-blowing.
Please-please people, could you not speak is such a trivialising way about this phenomena after all the work mddrecovery put into that piece?

Garry Nolan’s video isn’t working, do you have an alternate link? I’m curious to hear his thoughts on this. Thanks so much!
How is Ahriman mapped to ufo’s I wonder. I think chimeras map well to cryptids that can be associated with such energies. They adorn the Cathedrals of Europe. I think the godhead produces such as creative self expression that is completely personal and impersonal. Related to the entity and yet beyond time and space. A prefiguration.
