NewsNation: UAP Task Force Proposed In Vermont
After years of unexplained aerial sightings from pilots, military crews, and civilians a Vermont lawmaker has introduced a bill to create a state level UAP task force focused on airspace and public safety.
The task force will collect data, centralize reporting, coordinate with federal and academic partners, and release regular public reports.
What stood out to me is the transparency angle. This bill tries to create a parallel system where states can track and disclose what they're seeing. A public setting where you can report aerial and underwater anomalies.
Regardless of where you land on UAPs, this definitely signals a shift. States aren't waiting around for Washington anymore. They're rightly treating unidentified phenomena as an airspace governance issue.

UAP task force proposed in Vermont | Jesse Weber Live
A Vermont legislator has proposed creating a task force to examine reports of “unidentified anomalous phenomena” within the Green Mountain State. “As our radar capabilities increase, we’re seeing more and more of these anomalous phenomena that are not identifiable,” Rep. Troy Headrick, I-Burlington, tells “Jesse Weber Live.”

Nice to see a state government take UAPs seriously. Using airspace safety is a great way to sell it to the tax payers.
I’ve been following this topic since Grusch but only recently did I watch a few James Fox docs.
After seeing them I don’t understand how anyone can remain uninterested. At the very least we should have more stuff like this to gather data. I assume with the new drone reality more people will be in support of this.
