New research suggests that alien civilizations could use light patterns, similar to fireflies, to communicate, expanding the search for intelligent life beyond radio waves.

I am very confident that I see flashes of light every now and then, directly in my room. Sometimes I have seen them together with my cat or partner, so it is very unlikely to be an illusion. It’s kinda reminding me of those “light flashes” you can see when on LSD.
