Will 2026 be the year that aliens reveal themselves to us? If so, how likely is it that someone in Texas will be the first to make contact with them?
I have been fascinated by UFOs and aliens for as long as I can remember. Close Encounters of the Third Kind came out when I was just a little boy, and it just seemed so real to me. The thing about actually making contact with aliens is that it’s equal parts exciting and scary as hell. Will they be cool and just looking to get along with us, like in Close Encounters, or will they be looking to wipe out the human race and take over the planet like in Independence Day?
Whatever the case may be, I do believe aliens will make contact with us at some point. When it does happen, there’s a very good chance it will be here in Texas.

Researchers based their findings on four main factors: “UFO or UAP reporting density, proximity to military or aerospace facilities, population distribution, and how deeply a state features in existing UFO culture.”
