Hello everyone,

Please excuse my english I'm not a native speaker.

This is my first ever (serious) attempt of anything related to astrophotography. It's by far not perfect and I'm seeking for any kind of advice for my next pictures.

The gear I used:

William Optics Zenithstar 61 Mark 2 (no Flattener)
Canon EOS600d (no astromod yet)
iOptron Skyguider Pro
Shutter release ayex ex3

I took 27 images an exposure of 2min In a bortle 4. Sadly my camera battery died and I didn't bring a second one.

For the stacking/stretching I used siril and followed a tutorial on github.

I had some issues with my calibration pictures (mostly flats). Unfortunately in the top right you might be able to spot a darker rectangular. After talking with other atrographs we came to the conclusion that it might be the flats.

I got way to excited after seeing the nebulae on my cameras screen and just started shooting without centering it. Well it has been my first attempt and I'm still quit happy with the result.

Looking forward to get some feedback and maybe some tipps and tricks for my next images (prob sticking around orion).

If anyone interested in seeing my single exposures or perhaps my calibration frames I'm more than happy to share.

Clear skies
