My first attempt at shooting the Pleiades!
Equipment:
- Nikon D610 (stock)
- Sigma 70-300 (135mm)
- Kenko Sky Memo S
Conditions:
- Bortle 6
- 6°C
- Few clouds
Workflow:
- 200x40s subs
- ISO 800
- Stacked using Siril
- Editing with Siril, StarNet++, Photopea, Lightroom
I'm very pleased with the results. With only just over 2h total integration time in bortle 6 skies, I expected worse and got positively surprised by ho well it turned out.
The post processing was very enjoyable although I'm still learning and experimenting so I had to go back and fourth a lot of time.
Looking forward to getting feedback and opinions on what could've been better (and maybe even some tips?)
