The Greenville Comets started play Saturday night in the Kaskaskian Classic in Carlyle, and lost to Okawville 59-29.

The Rockets led 12-6 after one quarter, 27-15 at halftime and 47-25 after three quarters.

Top scorers for the Comets were Christian Swalley with 10 points and Paxton Ackerman with nine.

The Comets continue tournament action at Carlyle tonight (Monday) against Woodlawn.  Tip-off is at 6 p.m.   The game will be broadcast on WGEL and streamed at WGEL.com.
