Oh, how the times have changed. Not too long ago, if you claimed you believed in aliens, people would have thought you were crazy. Now, not only are people believing in them, but there are support groups for people who have endured alien encounters. Not only are you no longer seen as crazy by the masses, but it almost appears as if it has never been cooler to have had contact with an other worldly life force. Now, one woman is offering a “safe space’ for people to discuss their alien encounters.

What started off as a small in-person meeting at her public library has now spread across the globe. The NY Post shares that Catherine Chapey now considers these meetings the highlight of her week. Rather than meeting with just a few people at the library,” she now has a mailing list of thousands — some beaming in from as far as Japan and New Zealand.” The former electrician is now an ordained “interspiritual minister”, according to the Post, after having an otherworldly encounter herself. After sharing her experience, she found others who also had unique experiences with the extraterrestrial.

People in her weekly groups can have a “safe space to recount their abductions, telepathic visions from beyond, and other celestial come-to-Jesus moments.” While they may not be readily believed outside of this group, within the confines of the Zoom meeting, all alien encounters are listened to with respect.

What Is Trending In The Group Now?

The current hot-button topic in the group is the 3I/Atlas, “the interstellar object that’s streaking through our atmosphere.” This interstellar object has caused a lot of speculation, leading many people to argue that it could be connected to the estraterretrial. Luckily for all the believers out there, this alien encounter group provides them with the space to discuss it openly and without judgment. Each person in the group claims to have had some sort of contact with aliens. One man claims to have been working with them since he was 14 years old. Another woman claimed she is an “ET-human hybrid.” Additionally, a woman shared how she enjoys the group because it allows her to open up about this topic. When she broached the topic with friends and family, they thought she was insane.

While it is definitely unorthodox, it would appear that this alien therapy group is truly helping people.
