Andrew Ellis captured the ‘mind-boggling pulsating UFOs’ over the skies of West Lothian on Friday night.

Residents in a Scots town were left puzzled after “pulsating” lights were captured on video.

Andrew Ellis, from Livingston, was returning home from work when he spotted a set of lights over the Raeburn Rigg Estate.

He spotted the triangular set of lights in low cloud cover on Friday night, November 7 at around 8.30pm.

In footage of the strange occurrence, the lights can be seen hovering above the skyline in a triangle formation, fluctuating at various strengths.

Speaking to our sister title Edinburgh Live, Andrew said: “After arriving at Livingston North train station from Bathgate I took my usual walk home to Knightsridge.

“I walked along a dark path parallel to the tracks and to my left was Raeburn Rigg estate.

“At the end of the path before turning right down towards the walkway bridge, I crossed to the other side before noticing a strange cloud which seemed to be slightly pulsating.

“I thought nothing of it but then I noticed what looked like a huge row of lights pulsating.

“Some were brighter in the middle and each seemed to align in a triangular shape. That’s when I got my phone out and started recording for over six minutes.

“I’ve lived with my partner for seven years in the area and we have never seen anything like that before. It seemed to just hover in the cloud like it was concealing itself.

“I found it mind boggling. So I posted it on a website for UFO’s and UAP’s. It just went crazy in a couple of days.”

UFO and UAP enthusiasts from across the world chipped in with their explanations, but Andrew was not buying them, believing the lights behaved in a certain way that could not be easily justified. He shared a picture of the location in daylight.

He added: “The majority of people have been great but a few believe it is cars on a mountain, the starlink or fireworks, but none of that makes sense.

“There are no mountains there or roads and fireworks don’t stay in the sky like that.

“I have taken photos and video of the same place I was standing just to show people there is nothing but sky. If it can be explained then that’s great, I’ll accept it but I know it’s none of the things people are saying it is.

“A lot are saying starlink but I know starlinks in space not hovering about in a low cloud over a Scottish town. There’s one or two people saying it’s planes but they don’t fly in a row like that as a fleet very close together from Edinburgh airport.”

Andrew said while he is not confident it is aliens, he does not rule out extra-terrestrial life or potential military hardware the population is unaware of.

He said: “I know what I saw and I’m not saying it’s aliens but it could be our military, something we don’t know about. But I’d like to think there’s more than just us out there.

“I think it may be more crazy to think we’re alone in an unmeasurable ever expanding universe. The odds would suggest otherwise.”
