Dreyer’s nebula in Monoceros usually takes a back seat to the nearby Cone and Christmas Tree nebulas. Its combination of dust, dark nebula, Ha, and reflection nebulae however makes it a pretty target that deserves long exposures.
This image was 199-2’ exposures over 2 nights (6.6 hrs) from Bortle 1. It could probably benefit from 20 more.
