The Tasman Lake outlet is a classic photography spot, and one I have visited many times over the years. It wasn’t until earlier this year in April that I finally captured it at night, as the Milky Way core was rising over the background peaks.
Here you can see the pastel blues in the water, along with a few icebergs that had broken off the Tasman Glacier.
