Nikolay’s Genetics Lessons on Youtube has come up with an interesting take on why carbon dating is not a valid method for assigning an age to the mummies, if they are in fact extraterrestrial. He states that carbon dating can only be accurate to organisms that began and ended their development on earth. This means that either the carbon dating is accurate and they are terrestrial organisms, or it is inaccurate as a result of them being extraterrestrial.
An extension of this is that accurate carbon dating relies on the organism intaking carbon and it being used in new cell formation and growth, meaning that alongside accurate dating relying on wholly terrestrial development, it relies on the same biological pathways as earth based life, indicating a shared evolutionary history.

It seems to me that as long as a lifeform is carbon-based, and is exposed to cosmic radiation, the carbon-14 decay process would be similar. Any carbon dating inaccuracies would stem from the amount of radiation the organism was exposed to during its lifecycle.
The accuracy of the results may be suspect, but the underlying process still seems plausible.

He has a good point.
However, it may be possible to determine if the mummy was terrestrial or non-terrestrial, based on further isotope and/or maybe trace metal analyses. That is assuming that it isn’t too contaminated to properly sample due to how it was handled. And all the rest of the assumptions of course.

The Peru dummies. Debunk video was pretty thorough in the bone analysis

Just stop already. These are real and any further dumbass attempts to derail will be called out.
Waaaaaaaaay too much evidence now

This is an Interesting analysis but it neither confirms nor denies anything about the origins of these mummies. We still don’t know if they are from earth. If they did not originate here, we don’t know what the atmosphere of the planet they came from was like, how much time they spent there, how much time they spent in space, how much time they spent here, or how long they spent on other planets. All that would effect the radiocarbon decay. If they are from earth, what the fuck are they?
Maybe let’s DEFINITIVELY figure out if they are really aliens or if they are just cut up ancient lamas before we get into when and where they come from. No more “it’s just a gay penguin” YouTube “debunk” videos, no more Muassan, no more “bUt LOoK HoW GoOFy ThEy LoOk”, just give me some god damn peer reviewed science. Is that too much to ask? I don’t care if it comes from Mexico, Peru, Russia, the U.S., North Korea, whoever the fuck can do qualified scientific analysis, let’s get them in there and let’s figure out if they 1) are real, and 2) if they are from earth. After that we can worry about semantics.

How does this compare to the [Starchild](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starchild_skull) skull, which was apparently also found in a cave and dates back 900 years? A bit surprised it is being officially labeled as malformed human child skull when Llyod Pye’s testing pointed it towards a hybrid. And I digress a bit, he died of “cancer”- yet another UFO/Alien researcher dying with this disease.

I don’t disbelieve that these things are 1000 years old. I just don’t believe they’re aliens.

It’s a pretty interesting point in time, if these are in fact authentic in some way. Our tools for archaeology, anthropology, biology, and everything else are only valid with current assumptions. If we actually run into life of extraterrestrial origin or some form of non human intelligence it really will require entirely new methods to understand and perform basic science. The core tenets of science should be fine, as long as we are still dealing with objective realities, but that too could break down if some of the woo is real.
Interesting times!

Its pretty clear from their morphology and actions that if there is a biological force behind the UFO phenomena, its an earth based human offshoot race from prehistory that’s just been hiding (probably underground). The crypto terrestrial hypothesis is probably the best explanation, and they present themselves as off world aliens as a deceptive measure while they do tests.
