I actually found this to be a very interesting read. Harvard wanted to find descendants of slaves owned by its founders and original faculty and try to do right by them and offer some kind of reparations until the researcher uncovered evidence of at least over 900 slaves and estimated approximately 10,000 surviving descendants and he was fired before he even finished the project. It's like they wanted to do the right thing and be honest about their past until they realized how bad it was and how much they would have to actually give back in their reparations/funds to help the descendants and then wanted to backpedal.
