Personnaly, I think they could be fun to put together and can be used for paint practice (I do know people also used models to do fakes, the aurora ufo from the invaders was used for the haunebu 1 pic https://fantastic-plastic.com/ufo-from-the-invaders-by-aurora-models.html ). I noticed ufo kits would also often come with an interior, the 3 takom haunebu do per example https://www.scalemates.com/cs/kits/takom-6008-haunebu-i-ii-iii–1443705 (I'd like to get this one for fun and because it's much cheaper than the squadron haunebu kit).
